Siddhesh

Siddhesh has so far produced quality work that meets the aims of the Palisadoes Foundation. In the short time I've know him, I've come to learn that he possesses very admirable qualities such as grit and a strong work ethic as well as a strong passion for open source development. In the initial weeks of the GSoC programme, his exams prevented him from contributing immediately, and this had put him about, say, 2 or 3 weeks behind his peers. However, in the short time after his exams had finished, he immediately took to working on the tasks assigned to him and made significant progress that I would say more than compensated for the time lost. It is worthwhile to mention that his work did not have any appearance of being rushed either, as he provided ample screenshots and screencasts, as well as detailed commented code samples, with the various pull requests he made to show his understanding of the tasks at hand and made it overall easy to test and verify the various features he had created. His skills in frontend development are also of note as he has provided sleek designs for the plugins section of the Talawa Admin panel and seems to take a great deal of pride in his UX/UI work. I look forward to the work he will produce for the remainder of the programme and have no reservations whatsoever about passing him for this evaluation.
